It is hard to give a strategy here as I was at the tail end of my playthrough, so the fight is pretty easy. As you can see, most of the games bosses are optional but will make your time much easier (Soul master for example) Edit: False Knight is not mandatory either as you can escape from his arena. But whenever I get to the fight with the Hollow Knight, all of a sudden the game begins to stutter every five seconds or so. Yes, for a guy that has been imprisoned for ages, being rotten from inside by the infection, who can't even stand up straight, and whose conscious mind doesn't want to defeat you at all (you can see him stabbing himself during the fight, but then "the infection" takes the wheel and attacks you), you can say it was an easy fight. The wierdest thing is that it lingers for a short while even after I die, or go back to the menu, or use the Dream Nail to fight that Blinding Light boss. As for the colosseum, my only advice is to use charms that you're familiar with, I used Stalwart Shell (2) + Mark of Pride (3) + Quick Strike (3) + Nailmaster's Glory … Unless he thinks the Knight took the Brand by force...But by this point doesn't the knight bear the King's Brand? For most of my playtime, the game ran smoothly. Bosses are unique Enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong with typically higher health or deal more damage than the standard creatures in the same area. The final boss is The bosses here are generally found mid to late game. The Hollow Knight was easy because he's not the actual final boss, and because to fight the actual final boss you have to go through Hollow Knight every time you die hence why he was by design very easy. Hell, he might even in his last string of sanity saw the Knight and was convinced they were sent to replace him (which I guess, yeah? it's because he was fighting 2 enemies at once, one of which was the final boss herself and whom he has been non-stop fighting for ages already.I think that's untrue. After that, dream nail the hollow knight. so i just beat the game holy ♥♥♥♥♥ that was great and wow the final boss hollow knight was easy as ♥♥♥♥ i destroyed him in only on the first try !

As many have been saying, there's more content! It's way more fun to do it the 'proper' way, but if you just want to kill the final boss that's pretty much the easiest way to do so.
