We were excited to try it as it had been recommended by several friends. My steak tartare over SL spicy avocado sauce was terrific and the bread fir both was excellent. One of the best French restaurants in town.The ambience is great. The night was a disaster! Otherwise I’m sure it would’ve been great.I made a reservation about 2 or 3 weeks in advance for my husbands birthday. An extremely enjoyable place to eat, with the addition now of live guitar music. How hard would it have been to call a few people?
Service was impeccable. So I ended up with a very mediocre anniversary dinner, because getting reservations on a Saturday afternoon for that night at any good place was impossible.
And yet they excepted my reservation on Open Table. Arrived for my reservation on a date....the restaurant was permanently closed with no notice. There was an announcement the the restaurant was closed for filming. Victor was friendly and engaging. Service is excellent. Refined menu. Parking is difficult here but we did find a space and waited for them to open. We arrived at Montresor only to see that it was closed and shuttered. Oh joy - it's safe to say that we are not going back!Another tasty, delectable, amazing meal at Montresor!
